Education
Message of the Prefect of Education
Education is about awakening – Awakening to the power and beauty that lies within all of us.
To my mind education as an idea, is not just about bricks, Mortar and concrete, but about building character, enriching minds and about varied experiences that last a lifetime.
“True leaders always practice the 3 R’s Respect for self, Respect for others and Responsibility for all their actions” There is no substitute for hard work, confidence and perseverance. Leaders are made with hard work, dedication, confidence and discipline. Our Claretian missionaries are relentlessly work for the upliftment of the poor and needy.
“Reaching the unreached” is part of our missionary journey. So, most of our schools are situated in the remote areas helping the poor tribal students and find joy in empowering them.
It is the mist of difficulty, storm and turbulent water that a leader is made and the metal is tested. Missionary Leaders are made with hard work, dedication, will-power, and swimming against the current of hardships……united, hand-in-hand, with the great collection of views, vibrant personalities each with a different colour enhancing the beauty of the Claretine Education. These are the value engrained in us since the very start by our Claretian missionaries, Claretine teachers and with all our well-wishers.
I am indeed immensely happy about the journey of our Kolkata independent Delegation in various aspects of its mission and ministry. As the prefect of Education, our objective of our education ministry is vividly expressed in the following statement of our mission and vision statements.
